The USDA National Agricultural Library LCA Commons team is in the process of deploying a new LCA Collaboration Server (LCA CS) platform for data collection, publication, and discovery. The LCA CS was developed in partnership with GreenDelta GmbH. The LCA CS allows NAL and its partners to share and publish data sets seamlessly using web services. Modelers who work in openLCA can now commit data sets directly to NAL servers through their openLCA desk top application. NAL, in turn, can provide public access to data sets through https://collaborate.lcacommons.gov and/or https://www.globallcadataaccess.org
The LCA CS application is currently a beta version. It is a work in progress, and there will be continuous improvement to use and functionality. In 2018 and 2019, NAL will continue to improve usability and develop minor features in partnership with GreenDelta. If you have suggestions or find issues during your use of the LCA CS, please let us know at our contact page: https://www.lcacommons.gov/contact. If you have trouble downloading data sets through https://collaborate.lcacommons.gov, please contact us directly. You can also download data sets at https://data.nal.usda.gov/life-cycle-assessment.
The current discovery application https://www.lcacommons.gov/discovery will be fully replaced with the LCA CS MVP on August 31st.
