FLCAC Adaptation of the Federal Elementary Flow List (FEDEFL) & TRACIv2.1
Since Spring quarter 2020, the USLCI Database is now the first repo on the Federal LCA Commons (FLCAC) to be completely updated to the Federal Elementary Flow List (FEDEFL). The US EPA, the lead agency on the FEDEFL, worked with NREL to help map and convert the USLCI database to the FEDEFL. The EPA's Heavy Equipment Operation repo is also compatible with the FEDEFL (as originally compiled).
Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) responds to a request from the IPCC
Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) provided life cycle greenhouse gas emission results for various fuels and drivetrains for road transportation, responding to a request from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to the Federal LCA Commons Group. The results are based on a variety of publications by Argonne and will be used to support evaluation of options for reducing transportation sector greenhouse gas emissions in the IPCC 6th Assessment Report.
