Quarterly Release: USLCI - Spring 2021 Update

This USLCI Database release is the USLCI_2021_Q1 or Spring 2021 release. This USLCI database version is available on the NREL USLCI repo of the Federal LCA Commons Collaboration Server as well as via the USLCI Release Downloads page of this GitHub site. This release is intended as an augmentation to the normal fiscal quarter release scheduled for March 31, 2021 to align with several improvements going forward:

- Addition of ACC updated PCV virgin resin unit process & updates to the PVC resin supply chain (e.g., EDC-VCM, chlorine, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen)

- Addition of two updated Kodak-Alaris Office Scanner products and related China electricity grid mix average

- Update and corrections to coal and natural gas extraction processes (inputs from nature values and/or heating values)

- Correction to and/or establishment of default providers for all process exchanges with providers in the USLCI

- Correction to some input and output magnitudes to account for 2017-2018 database migration unit conversion errors

- Improvements to process, product, and elementary flow nomenclature standardization

- Augmented some process and sources metadata (including hyperlinks, where available)
